Our Impact
Refocus Project has worked with thousands of young people, families, and schools to prevent crime, reduce reoffending, and build safer communities. Our programmes have provided consistent mentoring, workshops, and early intervention support to those most at risk of exclusion and exploitation.
To date we have:
Refocus Project maintains active partnerships with local authorities, parents, faith groups, youth agencies, Kent Police, safer neighbourhood teams, and support networks across Kent and London.
Delivered diversionary programmes such as prison visits to 1500 young people from probation and pupil referral units in five different prisons
Delivered early intervention workshops to over 55,000 young people, targeting small and large groups.
Delivered workshops to over 3500 girls, addressing problems such as low self-esteem, gang membership risky behaviours.
Mentored over 75 people a year in school and those outside of education.
Have had an active partnership with a wide range of support agencies, faith groups, parents, local authorities, Eve workers, commit and Kent police, safer neighbourhood teams and local and London wide youth agencies.
