OUR TEAM

One of Refocus Project’s greatest strengths is the people behind it. Our team combines professional qualifications with real-life experience, allowing us to connect with young people in ways that inspire trust and transformation.

We’re proud to include mentors, sessional workers, and volunteers, many of whom are ex-offenders or from difficult backgrounds who have turned their lives around and now dedicate their time to helping others.

Lennox Rodgers Co-Founder & CEO

Lennox is Co-Founder and Chief Executive of Refocus Project and author of the biography Breaking Better. A qualified Level 7 training manager registered with the CIPD, he has extensive experience in youth work, mentoring, NLP, and motivational coaching.
Drawing from both professional training and lived experience, Lennox empowers others to challenge behaviour, rebuild self-belief, and achieve positive outcomes. His ability to engage with any age group makes him a powerful mentor and trainer, capable of creating genuine connection and trust.

Wayne Robb Co-Founder & Director

Wayne brings powerful lived experience and a long-standing commitment to supporting people at risk of offending and those involved in the criminal justice system. Growing up in Hackney during the 1980s, Wayne experienced many of the social and systemic challenges faced by young people in disadvantaged communities.
After spending many years involved in criminal activity and experiencing incarceration, Wayne made a conscious decision to change his life and dedicate his time to helping others avoid similar pathways. He now uses his experience to mentor and speak to young people and those in prison settings about mental health, life choices and rehabilitation. Wayne also recently completed a Level 2 qualification in Mental Health Awareness and has supported Refocus through mentoring, speaking engagements and prison-based work. He is committed to bringing honesty, transparency and lived-experience leadership to the board.
